Don't just take our word for it...

"The recent exam results are a fantastic testament to your lovely team and all the time and effort you put in. You should be so proud of all the effort and sacrifice you make. You, and the dance school, make such a positive impact on the lives of the young people you train and give them skills and ability they will keep for a life time. Well done and thank you. You are stars!"

Marie Brown, Parent.

"I'd never danced before so attending my first [adult tap] class was nervewracking. Eventually I bit the bullet and went along. I was immediately put at ease by the teacher and made welcome by the other ladies in the group. Some weeks on and I am addicted to tap dancing. Great class and I'd recommend anyone thinking about giving it a go, to just do it!!"

Deborah, Tap n Tone class member

"My children have attended other dance classes in the area, but I can honestly say that Oris Dance is the happiest, most fun, organised and professional my husband and I have seen. Miss Lindsay, Miss Zoe and the team invest so much time and patience with every single one of the children. I can't imagine my girls moving dance schools again."

Helen Jones, Parent

"Just a line to say what a pleasure it was to be backstage yesterday. You are so organised - covering absolutely everything in great detail!

You also provided all information needed - and more - to ensure the smooth running of the show. Not only this, but everybody was so calm and friendly.
The children were polite and well mannered. They knew exactly what they were doing! What a fabulous reflection on you both.
Everybody backstage was lovely too - including all the runners and dressers.
What a great team you have!
I wish every chaperone job I did was like this!! So... well done to all at Oris Dance!!!!!"
Julie Foley, Musical Theatre Tutor/Lecturer/Adjudicator/Professional Chaperone
"I just wanted to say how fabulous the show was. All (our) family and friends thoroughly enjoyed it.  It was very obvious that a lot of hard work went into it.

And if you have not seen the DVD yet you won't believe the difference in ****. That shy timid girl just loves being on that stage and beamed all the way through. She made me cry more than anything else!"
Vicky Richardson, Parent

"...I wanted to tell you that I thought the show was great and incredibly well organised...I thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you!"

Joanne Penny, Parent

"That's Entertainment!  Clearly you two CanCan do a great job. Shame it's a wrap on this year's dance show, but you'll definitely be back for a sequel.  Thank you for everything xx"

Angela Clarke, Parent

"The teachers are very patient with the children, especially the younger ones. I know my child is safe and well looked after in their dance class."

Jane Wiggins, Parent.

"The relaxed atmosphere of the classes makes them enjoyable for the children."

Kate, Parent.

"I am very happy with Oris Dance. My daughter really enjoys the lessons and looks forward to it every week."

Tapathon 2018

Well done to 60 of our dancers who took part in this year's Children in Need Tapathon on SUnday 18th November. The atmosphere was electric with all those shoes tapping together!

We're now waiting to hear whether we have beaten the current Guinness World Record for the largest tap dance across multiple venues. But if not, we still had a great fun day and raised lots of money for Children in Need. Thank you and well done to everyone involved.

We welcomed ex Pussycat Doll and TV dance judge, Kimberly Wyatt, for an exciting end-of-term dance workshop!

We were so excited to have Kimberly Wyatt join us on the afternoon of 21st July. Kimberly ran two workshops for two different age groups working on technique, confidence and a fantastic commercial routine with us. There was also time for lots of photos and autograph signing! A fantastic day - thank you Kim! x

Thank you to everyone who took part and especially to all those people who attended and helped us to reach a record number of ticket sales!
