Welcome to the newest arm of Oris Dance....Little Oris.
Little Oris Dance is a group of classes fittingly designed to introduce our littlest dancers to the magical world of dance and movement to music.
Toddler Ballet and Preschool classes, up to around age 4.5 meet at St Julie's church hall - the perfect home for our youngest dancers and their parents to move around freely. We also introduce babies from birth to movement to music in our Parent & Baby class courses which take place at St Julie's too.
With three specially created classes to engage and delight your tiny budding performers, Little Oris is a fun and relaxed environment for your baby or toddler to experience their first classes whilst enjoying the security of a parent or carer by their side.
If you're struggling to get a slot, please cwhere we can place you on our waiting list, advise of cancellations or remind you when new booking links are live.
Unlike our main school, where dancers have an ongoing place until they tell us otherwise, Little Oris classes are bookable term by term through our booking page. This gives little ones the opportunity to try out our classes either for just a term or two with no further commitment, or they may continue to book and eventually work their way up the school. Current attendees will always get a prebooking link to rebook their place at the start of each new term, before the places go on general sale.
How cool are these? Order yours now in our Members Area.
Over the moon all of our outstanding exam results!! Well done, to everyone who took part. We're super proud of you all!!

Our newest arm, Little Oris Dance officially opens its doors from September. Based at The Nest in Eccleston, we are opening the magical world of dance up to our youngest ever attendees :) Babies from birth through to toddlers will join us with their parents/carer for classes on Saturday mornings.
We're back to our usual venues and (hopefully) a regular schedule of classes again from September.
Saturday classes start from 4th Sept. Contact us to enquire about a place.
We had great fun at our summer Days of Dance over the holidays. To ensure we're still distancing, we ran more sessions this year, with fewer numbers in each. But the atmosphere was still fantastic with lots of enthusiasm and energy from all our attendees. Thanks to everyone who came along and made such great fun memories!
Congratulations to our Advanced class (plus Mollie who's not pictured above) for some fantastic exam results. Not one, but two distinctions for these superstars in their most recent exam session. Plus, some amazing comments from the examiner..."Tap at its best" and "A showstopping performance!." Just brilliant, ladies. Keep up the great work!
We are absolutely delighted with not only a 100% pass rate for our most recent set of practical dance exams, but some outstanding results. Well done to everyone - we're proud of you all!
Are you looking for a St Helens dance class? Now is the perfect time to sign up with Oris Dance as we're starting brand new work across all classes in January. Contact us to ask about availability and the most suitable class for you.
Another amazing day with professional west end dancer, Andrew, took place on Saturday 5th October. Andrew led two brilliant musical theatre workshops for some of our Ruskin dancers, filling the room with energy, fun and laughter. We learnt a lot and look forward to welcoming Andrew back soon.
Have you signed up for one of our summer holiday Days of Dance? If 6 weeks seems just too long off dancing, we've some great activities planned at our Ruskin Drive Leisure Village studio - get in touch to find out more.
What a fantastic afternoon we had at the Theatre Royal for our annual performance on 14th July. Our movie themed show was a great success - every single one of our dancers did us proud. We were sooo impressed with you all! A massive well done to everyone who took part and thanks to everyone who came to watch.
Our Easter workshop with Andrew Chadwick was a full day of learning, lifting and most importantly, laughing. Our dancers had a wonderful time learning some original west-end musical theatre choreography and mastering partner lifts and balances. Here are some photos of the day:
Thank you to guest teachers, Victoria and Sheila, who ran two great fun workshops. We learnt a lot from you both!
A distinction grade is rare, but our dancer and class assistant, Laura, smashed her exams this year by receiving, not one, but three!!
Huge congratulations on this outstanding achievement, with love from all your fellow dancers and teachers at Oris Dance. x
We were thrilled to receive some outstanding gradings and remarks from our recent exam session, including a high number of honours and distinctions. What an achievement!!
A huge well done to all of our dancers who have (yet again!) done us proud!
Following our recent exam session with the ADA, we are thrilled to have once again achieved a 100% pass rate. Congratulations and well done to all of our dancers - we are so proud of you all!
We had a great afternoon out at the Lowry watching Dr Doolittle and celebrating the end of another fantastic year at Oris Dance. Thanks to everyone that came along, including parents who came to help.
Well done to 60 of our dancers who took part in this year's Children in Need Tapathon on Sunday 18th November. The atmosphere was electric with all those shoes tapping together!
No Guinness World Record this time (for the largest tap dance across multiple venues), but over £37k raised for Children in Need and a great day had by all! Thank you and well done to everyone involved.
We were so excited to have Kimberly Wyatt join us on the afternoon of 21st July. Kimberly ran two workshops for two different age groups working on technique, confidence and a fantastic commercial routine with us. There was also time for lots of photos and autograph signing! A fantastic day - thank you Kim! x
We had a lovely end to the school year with our yongest dancers at our Teddy Bear's Picnic on 21st July. Teddies, cake and of course lots of dancing! Thanks to everyone who came.
Thanks to St Julie's who invited us to perform at their summer gala on 15th July. Well done dancers - you did us proud!
